Statistically significant (p < 0.0001) upregulation of DR1 expression was found in superficial (a) and infiltrating (b) bladder cancer, when compared to normal bladder. A total of 157 samples were used in the Sanchez-Carbayo study (Sanchez-Carbayo et al., 2006).
