The solid black lines are the corresponding rescaled numerical approximations of the volume (V (t)). Optimized parameter values: for Ca2+ Ļ„ = 16.2803, a = 0.2544, b = 0.0118, k = 0.7360; for Hg2+ Ļ„ = 16.5391, a = 0.0546, b = 0.0410, k = 0.6995. Relative least squared error 7.8132e-04 for Ca2+ and 1.0289e-03 for Hg2+.
