The dashed rectangle at the top half of the diagram shows the CUDA thread hierarchy while the large rectangle in the lower half shows the hierarchy of memory spaces in a CUDA device. T0 to T32 represent the threads contained in a warp. The current version of GENIE uses the global and local memory spaces that are represented by the orange and aqua colored boxes respectively.
